Linux Foundation Linux Certification training available

Linux Foundation Certified SysAdminLinux system administration is one of the most in-demand skills in IT. The LFS301 (Linux System Administration) gives the skills to start a new Linux IT career, transition to Linux from another platform, or enforce current sysadmin skills. This course helps learners prepare for the Linux Foundation Certified System Administration (LFCS) exam.

Linux Foundation Certified EngineerThe LFS311 (Advanced Linux System Administration and Networking) course is designed for those who need to gain a hands-on knowledge of Linux network configuration and services, as well as related topics such as basic security and performance This course is excellent preparation for the Linux Foundation Certified Engineer (LFCE) exam.

The LFS301 and LFS311 courses are taught in an on-site classroom setting by Rogue Wave Software open source Architects or Linux developers. Rogue Wave Software open source architects are seasoned IT thought leaders able to diagnose, solve, and explain difficult technical issues while enabling positive change within an organization.

The LFS201 (Essentials of System Administration) course teaches how to administer, configure, and upgrade Linux systems running one of the three major Linux distribution families (Red Hat, SUSE, and Debian/Ubuntu). Also, all the tools and concepts needed to efficiently build and manage a production Linux infrastructure will be presented. This is an online self-paced beginner course for those interested in acquiring or polishing professional Linux system administration skills, or looking to prepare for the Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator exam.

The LFS211 (Linux Networking and Administration) course provides expert test preparation for the Linux Foundation Certified Engineer certification and for anyone interested in acquiring or polishing advanced networking and sysadmin skills. It provides hands-on knowledge on how to design, deploy, and maintain a network running under Linux, how to administer network services, how to deploy file, web, email, and name servers, and covers other topics such as how to securely configure network interfaces. This is an online, self-paced advanced course requiring familiarity with the concepts found in the LFS201 Essentials of System Administration course.
