DevOps, operating systems, databases, networking, and applications.

How do you contribute back to the open source community?

I contribute back to the open source community by answering questions in forums and will soon be providing more direct support to open source projects.

Tell us your best “ah-ha” moment or customer experience.

A well-known educational institution lost its encrypted data store. I got on the server and looked around for about 10 minutes. Turns out, they mounted a filesystem on top of the original data that they thought they had lost. They had been looking for this data for about a week. It was such an “ah-ha” moment for both me and the customer.

Why do you love your job?

I love my job because I enjoy technical problems. And in my job the problems are never the same and are always challenging. My favorite part is helping customers resolve their issues.

I like to fly model aircraft in my free time.
